About Coffee for community development
Coffee for Community Development supports vulnerable families in communities surrounding Bwindi Impenetrable Forest by giving them the opportunity to grow and benefit from their own coffee. Families receive coffee seedlings and practical training on how to plant, nurture, and harvest them using sustainable farming practices.
As the coffee matures, farmers gain a reliable source of income while also learning agricultural skills that strengthen long-term livelihoods. Once harvested, Jungle Java purchases the coffee directly from the farmers, ensuring fair access to markets and stable support for local producers.
This approach helps families build financial independence while encouraging sustainable agriculture that protects the environment around Bwindi. By creating opportunities through coffee, the project helps communities thrive while promoting a deeper connection between people, their land, and the forest they depend on.

Supporting this initiative helps families grow sustainable livelihoods, protect nature, and build stronger communities around Bwindi. Every cup of coffee contributes to a future where people and nature flourish together.
